Upper Shunda Creek Campground

Although Upper Shunda is known for its spacious, tree-shaded campsites—some of which border the creek—and its central location between the many outdoor adventures that define the David Thompson Corridor, it also boasts campsites specific for Cyclists and Motorcyclists and an on-site trailer rental. From here, local trails lead to meadows, creeks and fishing holes, while Abraham Lake and Coliseum Mountain are just a short drive away. The campground connects to local mountain bike routes and OHV-friendly trails, making it a basecamp for every kind of explorer.

With an on-site store with basic camping supplies, firewood sales, handcrafted items, goodies, snacks and maps… firepits, potable water and outhouses that get cleaned daily, Upper Shunda blends rustic camping with reliable essentials.
