Nordegg presents three special annual markets that celebrate community spirit and local artisans. The June Spring Fling inaugurates the season with local crafts. The town of Nordegg, Alberta, will once again welcome endurance athletes and outdoor enthusiasts to the second annual Black Lung Ultra—a rugged 62-kilometre, three-leg trail ultra marathon honouring the region’s coal-mining heritage. Inviting adventure-seekers, athletes traverse mountain ridges, collieries, and scenic foothills of the Rockies, experiencing Nordegg’s warm community spirit and storied history as they test their grit and endurance.
