Miners’ Café offers a warm welcome and a delicious pause in your mountain adventure. This charming café has been a cherished stop for both locals and visitors exploring the area for over 35 years!

Originally established in 1986, and renowned across Alberta for its towering deep-dish pies—each made with nine cups of fresh fruit—Miners’ Café is a celebration of homemade goodness. Under the care of new owners Jerry & Tanya since 2024, the Café carries forward a proud tradition of handcrafted baking while offering a refreshed and inviting space for travellers, hikers, and families to gather. Pair your slice with a cup of organic, fair-trade Good Neighbour Coffee, roasted right here in Alberta, and you’ve got a true taste of the region.

The seasonal menu features hearty soups, wraps, sandwiches, and crisp salads—all made from scratch with care. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite, picking up a full pie for the cabin, or enjoying a leisurely lunch on the patio with views of Coliseum Mountain, there’s always something comforting and memorable on offer.
